I Need Help With My College Algebra Homework: 5 Simple Solutions

Argh! Algebra! If you’re feeling stuck with your latest homework and don’t know where to turn, then relax and know that there’s always help to be had.

Here are my 5 simple answers:

Look in books!

It’s easy to feel overwhelmed with homework, but as long as you take things one step at a time, things aren’t usually as bad as they first seem. So, if you’re at a loss as to know how to accomplish your latest mathematical task, the first port of call is also the most obvious: have you tried looking in your textbooks?

It seems unlikely that your teacher would have set homework without allowing you to find the required answers. As long as you haven’t lost your course books, or they’ve not been eaten by the dog, then it’s very likely you’ll be able to locate the answers you need in your textbooks.

Visit the library.

If you HAVE lost your textbooks, then I’m sure you’ll be able to find other copies in your campus library. If your course books are intact, but you can’t find the relevant information, or you don’t understand that that is given, then the library should also be an invaluable place of assistance.

If you can’t find what you’re looking for, then be sure to ask a librarian, as they’ll be only too pleased to help and point you in the right direction.

Ask someone who knows the answers!

It could be that you have all the information you need, but you just don’t understand it; or are having trouble correlating it. If this is the case, never be afraid to ask your teacher for more assistance. There’s no need to feel awkward at doing so- your teacher wants you to learn as much as you do (if not more so!), so don’t feel ashamed in needing a little more help. It’s best to make sure you’re getting things right than to bury your head in the sand.

Friends could help.

Why not ask your fellow class friends? It could be that you’re just not grasping that one thing needed to make you understand the whole. Perhaps your friends have the answers! A study group can always be a good idea anyway, because as long as you don’t get too distracted with gossip and such things, two heads can often be better than one!

Go online.

You could always try looking online for the answers. If you don’t have internet access at home, you can always get online in your library.
